An engagement shoot is a chance to spend time together in front of the camera before your wedding day — relaxed, unhurried, and without any of the pressure that comes with the day itself. We'll choose a location that feels right for you: a favourite walk, a stretch of river, a town or landscape you love.

Many couples find it a genuinely enjoyable afternoon, and it means that on your wedding day you already know how it feels to be photographed together. The images also make beautiful save-the-dates, website headers, or simply a set of portraits of this moment in your lives.

If you're planning to propose and would like a photographer there to capture the moment itself, I'd love to be part of it. There's something extraordinary about documenting a proposal as it actually happens — the surprise, the emotion, the joy that follows — rather than recreating it afterwards. It takes a little planning and a good deal of discretion, but the resulting images are unlike anything else: genuinely spontaneous, completely real, and yours to keep forever.
